In Brief...

Over the course of this year, and specifically during this course, I have gained such valuable insight that I will be able to carry with me in my invisible backpack, for years to come.

It is important that current and future teachers invest concerted time and energy towards become more culturally aware and open to developing their diversity knowledge base. To paraphrase a quote mentioned in another blog post, we must know before we can teach. Therefore, as Canada becomes increasingly diverse, we must welcome the opportunity to integrate their culture into our classrooms.
